Gravity Maze

Gravity Maze is a personal Think Fun favorite of ours here at Puzzle iD. This takes the concept of a maze and adds gravity and a third dimension! Choose one of 60 cards ranging from easy to very challenging. The card will display an initial setup of pieces. You are also given prompts for pieces that must be placed on the board. The goal is to drop a metal ball at the highest point of the maze and have it fall and tumble through the path you have created to the red finish piece. Gravity Maze rewards forward thinking and a fundamental understanding of how each piece can be used. The solution is typically hard earned but always satisfying!

Red Dragon

These egg mazes by Bepuzzled further reassure our love for creative new puzzles. These eggs play out like traditional maze but with a real twist! Insert the wand in the top of the egg and navigate to the base. Red Dragon is a two layer egg. This means that the top and bottom move separately, leading to many possible combinations to get in the way of your solution! Do you have the patience to figure out this complex arrangement? Tavern Puzzle has once again built another brain teaser that is equally brain and brawn. We place this one in the higher end of difficulty. Thankfully it comes with a carrying pouch because you may find yourself utilizing some down time to study this intricate structure.

Hanayama Labyrinth

A metal puzzle by Hanayama that fits well in our maze category! This level 5 is a real task. There isn't a whole lot of distance from the center of the maze to the outside. As you probably guessed the solution is not as direct as it looks! The mobile, horseshoe shaped ring has two teeth, one on either side. This means you have to solve not one but two mazes simultaneously! Like all Hanayama puzzles this one is built solid and sure to last. The compact nature of this one also makes it easy to tote around and show off. Take plenty of breaks and jump back to it when the inspiration hits!

Woody’s Soma Cube

We find the Soma Cube to be a great desktop puzzle. Of course, we could probably benefit with less desktop distractions to pull us from work! The Soma Cube is a gift to Tetris lovers. The goal is to rebuild a cube out of smaller pieces so that the cover may sit over the top. Puzzles like this take a bit of studying as each piece can serve a limitless amount of purposes. This adds to the zen of our desktop experience. Place a piece or two while waiting for your next page to load. Before you know it you have a perfect wooden cube. Just be sure the work gets done too!
